How do I use dashboards?

Dashboards are a great way to view the data you use frequently in a convenient user interface that enables you to track and monitor your data.

A helpful way to analyze data is for it to be presented and tracked via a Dashboard. You can create dashboards that are aligned to the various user roles in your organization. A CISO or security executive might want to have a dashboard tailored to areas of top concern. An Auditor will likely want to pull data together from more than one of your data sources. As an administrator of Gathid, the choice, and the power, is yours.

To view your dashboards, click the expand arrow beside Dashboards on the menu bar.

Creating and Editing Dashboards

Administrators have the ability to create and edit dashboards via the Dashboards menu item.

Copy an existing dashboard, or click the “+” icon in the banner to create a new dashboard.

Add a name to your dashboard.

Click widgets from the modal to place them onto your dashboard.

Configure each widget as you require.

Widgets are able to represent the results of the reports and the segments that you are an owner of. If you cannot see a report or the report does not yet exist, you will need to be added as an owner, or create the new report ahead of being able to add it to your dashboard.
